The future of work is here — let's see how we can make it fair!
Platform work and algorithmic management, the invisible boss — buzzwords about the future of work or the reality of precarious employment already lived in? Which strategies can lead to a fair future, and where do European countries stand in implementing the Platform Work Directive? What can we learn from Spain, a pioneer in regulating algorithmic management and platforms?
We are delighted to welcome two exciting keynote speakers to our event on November 14, 2025.
Tea Jarc, Confederal Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC/ETUC), gives insights into the implementation of the Platform Work Directive from an international perspective — and which sectors are affected.
Daniel Cruz Fuentes, Head of Analysis and Digital Transformation at CCOO Catalunya, talks about trade unions' experiences with the groundbreaking Riders Law, with a focus on omnipresent algorithmic management.
In the subsequent panel discussions, experts from both worlds will have their say — trade unions, legal experts and labor inspectorates, but also organizers who are actually active in the field of platform work.
